NATIONAL AFGC PHOTO CONTEST RULES AND INFORMATION

Photo Guidelines: A photo should be an obvious illustration of the category in which it is entered. Does the photo tell a story?   Most often, the difference between a photo you remember and one that you quickly forget depends on whether the photo tells a story. The viewer should be able to immediately identify the subject in the photo. Photos should be clear and in focus.

The purpose of the contest is to recognize, through photography, the multi-faceted uses of forages. Entrants can submit color digital high resolution photo files to AFGC Headquarters. These will be enlarged and displayed at the annual conference. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best photos.

Credit will be given to AFGC and the photographer when a corporation or magazine utilizes a photo.

Rules of the contest are as follows:
 

1. Photo must have been taken and submitted by an AFGC member.

2. Each photo entry must be sent with $10 entry fee for each photo to AFGC headquarters. Payment may be made by cash, check (Payable to AFGC) or credit card by completing an AFGC credit card processing form or contacting AFGC headquarters directly. 

Please DO NOT retouch digital photos. Digital photos should be provided VIA EMAIL OR ON A CD. We will print them as an 8 x 10 on photo paper and frame them for display. Please submit the fee and information requested above. Photos will be judged at the Annual Conference and results announced at the Conference. Entrants do not have to attend the conference to participate in the National Photo Contest.
