AFGC 2025 Call for Presentations

 

AMERICAN FORAGE AND GRASSLAND COUNCIL
2025 CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS FORM

 

AFGC invites farmers, extension educators, Federal and State agency representatives, researchers, and industry representatives to submit proposals for volunteer presentations to be made in either an oral or poster format.     

Volunteer paper formats include:

  • Oral presentation – timed oral presentations (including time for Q&A) are grouped by topic. An oral session contains 5 – 6 presentations and is 90 minutes in length with each presentation being 15 minutes in length.
  • Poster Presentation – posters are available for viewing for one day.  Presenters must be available next to their posters for questions and discussion during specific time periods as noted on the Program.
  • Workshop – a presentation concentrated on a specific educational topic area that has a time block of 1.5 to 2 hours depending on agenda placement . 
The deadline for submission is August 30, 2024.

After proposals are considered and scheduled, presenters will receive instructions for submitting a required one-page interpretative summary.  The interpretive summary is not a scientific abstract, but a brief summary of your presentation that is easily understood by the general public.  The deadline for submitting interpretive summaries will be November 4, 2024.
